Paige Brue, PE, CFM, QSD
Principal Engineer
Paige Brue, the founder of Surf City Hydraulic Engineering, became interested in water resources after her hometown experienced a devastating flood during her senior year of high school. This experience helped her understand the importance of floodplain management. Today, she is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of California and has been working in the stormwater management industry since 2012. Paige is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), a Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developer, and a licensed Rainwater Catchment Systems Designer. Her expertise lies at the intersection of the built environment and the natural world. Paige has been involved in a variety of projects throughout her career including highway drainage projects, hydraulic modeling for dams and spillways, stream stabilization, floodplain mapping, fluvial studies, environmental compliance, stormwater best management practice (BMP) design, and watershed planning.
